Teaching Instructor/Teaching Assistant Professor - Computer Science
Job Description
Teach courses as assigned. Maintain office hours as designated by the Chair of the department. Collect course assessment data for continuous process improvement and program accreditation. Mentor undergraduate students. Participate in department undergraduate student recruitment and student engagement activities. Contribute service to the department and the College of Engineering and Technology. Engage in professional development activities. Successful candidate will be expected to commit to high-quality teaching and active engagement with undergraduate students. The position requires teaching primarily undergraduate courses in the B.S. in Software Engineering and B.S. in Computer Science programs, with priority given to B.S. in Software Engineering.
Minimum Education/Experience
A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required for Teaching Assistant Professor. Applicants with an M.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline will be considered as Teaching Instructor.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation

Candidates with prior teaching, research, or relevant industry experience will be given preference.
