Pharmacy Account Manager, Principal

Your Role
The Pharmacy Transformation team is a key pillar in Blue Shield's Pharmacy Reimagined strategy bringing easy, affordable, and transparent pharmacy care to our members. The Account Manager, Principal will report to the Director of Pharmacy Pricing & Growth. In this role you will own the pharmacy relationship with our clients, ensuring effective pharmacy management and driving growth through new product sales and new business wins. You will be the primary point of contact for client support and responsible for consistent client/member satisfaction and success.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires in-depth knowledge of the pharmacy, PBM, and health plan market
- Experience with competitive pharmacy RFPs and contract negotiations preferred
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 136400.00 to $ 204600.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
